greg and i went to see urlLink third day and urlLink bebo norman in concert tonight. i've seen third day lots of times, but never bebo.
he's adorable - a seemingly down-to-earth guy from georgia who plays guitar (well) and loves God. i love his music (so much greg and i are going to have his song "a page is turned" in our wedding). i love live music. there were moments tonight God gave me glimpses of heaven - praising God at the foot of his throne.
i know heaven is going to be so much more glorious and amazing than i can even imagine while soaking up the music and message, like tonight. bebo talked about how inconsistent we are and how consistent God is. totally something i needed to hear, mainly because my life is always going to change, which is going to change me in ways, i'm sure, but God is steadfast in who he promises to be.
bebo also talked about how big God is, but how he manages to be small enough, in a sense, to fit in our human hearts. and mac powell (he's the lead singer for third day, but acts like a worship leader much of the time) reminded me how ever-present God is. simple thoughts, in a way, but it's leading my mind to deeper things to chew on. i needed this.
