Why don't we have celebrations of life? Sad funerals come mere moments too late. Dead ears are deaf to the kind words we say. Let's celebrate precious life instead. A smile, a hug, a warm embrace, a handshake, a kiss Let's say 'I love you' to ears that hear. The artist who starves today would eat tomorrow It's sunny and warm today, The cold and grey days will come all too soon.
Without further ado celebrate! For the golden sun shines brightly today! Amanda June 14th 2004 I think it rather strange that we remember and say such nice things about people only after they have died and cannot appreciate things. I think of Ronald Reagan and Ray Charles who were remembered this past week. There is surely someone close to us all that could use a thought of remembering and kind words before their time on earth is through.
