Well I'm not quite addicted but have bought a few things from e-bay. So far 2 labtops that worked great and were bought for cheep came from there. I've just bid on something I've been wanting for a while now. I'm an independent person and I've got a credit card so I can do what I want!
And hopefully it will work out. You may think I'm crazy when I tell you that I want to play Atari. Some of you may not have even heard of Atari, probably before your time. But I want to hook it up and pop in those game cartriges of asteroids, pacman, pong, centipede and what have you and see my tv screen blink and shine like it used to. To hold that old fashioned joy stick in my hand and really feel the characters move on the screen would be such joy! I guess I'm old fashioned when it comes to video games. I never caught on to the idea of 3-D computer games. Nintendo is okay - but I still haven't mastered Mario (have to continue game every time because I always die in some silly hole or something, and I hate the kupas).
Anyway, I have an Atari and I've tried to get it to work. I've bought a new adaptor, tested all the switches, hooked it all up but no go. I don't know what's wrong and it's probably not worth it to fix so I'll just buy one that does. And I'm going to try e-bay. If by chance anyone out there has one that works and wants to sell it to me let me know. Until then I'll be e-baying and garagesaling with persistance!
