All my friends are on vacation or on the other side of the country, the sun is shining like the A-bomb flash over Nagasaki and I have no work or studying to do (well, actually I do have to study for some exams, but I don't feel like it right now). So how am I going to spend this saturday? The logical thing to do would be to pick up a good book, my mp3 player and a cold drink, for a nice, relaxing session on the garden terrace. But then again, I've already been burned like a crisp by the sun and I am in short supply of good books.
I suppose I could also join my family when they drive to Deventer this afternoon. There they are going to celebrate the 50th anniversary of an aunt of mine. My uncle has planned a special surprise. This special thing probably has something to do with water. Why else would he tell everybody to take an extra pair of socks with them? Hmm... I'm not sure what choice to make. Will my curiosity conquer my saturday morning laziness? Stay tuned and find out!
