my kev is the III, and is a bit out of date, although i only found that out once i was pretty far into my game. they've release a couple of expansion packs and a raft of patches, so i thought that if i were to have another shot at it, i'd want to get all the newest stuff together first. if you really want the one i'm using, i'll see what i can do, but you'd probably be better off getting hold of a newer version yourself, as that's what i'm intending to do. i've read a couple of guides to playing on the harder levels of kev, and it's super-hard and mind-blowingly technical.
i'm not sure i have the patience to calculate the precise number of turns it will take my worker unit to cross a river, irrigate on square, and mine another and rationalise that against controlling my tax rate so that a new science advance arrives exactly when i need it, while all the time managing my city population's working pattern and growth to alter levels of production to synchronise with an anticipated event in 40 turns' time. for christ's sake. urlLink a good bomb or a bad bomb?
