i have to stay off the messenger or the bogtrolls get me. that is: our isa-server and firewall block many ports and protocols, and messenger is among them. however, the managing director and the chairman want to do things like use messenger and listen to hebrew radio, so there has to be a small ip range that sits outside the protected band for them to occupy. i'm not supposed to be on that range... but... i am. so i can use messenger, but if i'm spotted, then it'll be immediately obvious that i'm not going through the firewall, and that my web access is unrestricte and i'm running kazaa all the time. that would be a negative. having said that, it's lunch time at the moment, so you never know your luck.
