urlLink At the begining of 1978 a man went to South Korea during his military service, there he met a young girl and fell in love with her from the first moment, they got married and moved to the U.S. and before the year ended I came into this messy and noisy world, my mother was 19 by the time. After struggling during 2 years of marriage my parents got divorced, my mother went back to her country and my father, not having any other choice, had to quit the Army and take care of me after the Court decided he was the one to keep my custody.
My father returned to Puerto Rico and moved in with his mother, there I had to share the bedroom with her until I turned 13 when she past away. School was not that hard, although most of the time I was teased by other kids for being different, it was not until I was a teenager that I started to appreciate myself. In spite of not having brothers or sisters, my childhood was filled with fun and imagination. My favorite hobbie was to play with barbies for long, long hours. During my high school years I was forbidden to have a boyfriend and it was very rare to have permission to go out at night, so I spent most of my days talking infinite hours on the phone. When I was 16, starting my senior year at high school, I started dating my cousin's best friend, I couldn't beleive that I was actually having a relationship with the person I always dreamed of since I was a child.
After graduation I went to college to study biology, and in my second year, after 2 and a half years with my boyfriend, we got married, on september 27th, 1997. Two years later our first child was born. Between work and college I didn't had enough time to take care of our daughter, so I had to quit college for a while, and dedicated my time working as a secretary.
In december 2002 I gave birth to our second child, a 4 lbs baby-boy. Now in our 7th year of marriage, with a 5 year-old daughter and a 1 year-old son we are starting a new living in the states. Hoping to be able to go back to college pretty soon and become a Doctor, before I turned 40!, I spend my days with my two beautiful kids at home while my husband goes to work. Thank God for my family! Sandra Falcon
