  This is my training schedule as of today. I've been doing this for a while now, gradually working up my running distance and time in the saddle so I feel good about completing (and in fair standing) the SC 1/2 Ironman in mid-September 2004. Monday Run 10 miles Circuit training at YMCA or at home on Bowflex for about an hour. Tuesday Swim 2,500-3,000m Bike 20-30 if decent out Wednesday Run 10 miles Circuit training at YMCA or at home on Bowflex for about an hour. Thursday Swim 2,500-3,000m Bike 20-30 if decent out Friday Run 10 miles Circuit training at YMCA or at home on Bowflex for about an hour. Saturday Bike 30-45 miles Sunday Active Rest It seems like a lot and not too well organized into actual training.
This is too true. If I miss a day, I don't sweat it. Sometimes I may run, bike, or swim a little more or a little less. It depends on how I feel and the weather and how much time I can spend away from the family and still have peace at home. Train hard.
