Diversity in ML
Learning diverse solutions.
I am working on creating automation that will increase diversity in the workplace through the admissions/hiring process. Currently I am focusing on Multi-Armed Bandits problems. I am happy to call John Dickerson my advisor.
Supporting minorities in CS.
I teach after school computer science to girls at Montgomery Blair High School. I worked for Einstein By Design teaching elementary school kids and creating new curricula. My research also focuses on increasing diversity in graduate admissions.
Art and Electronics
In my spare time I work on micro-electronics projects that use Arduino and Raspberry Pi. To keep sane I draw in Charcoal and paint with watercolors.
Expanding my knowledge.
La Salle UniversityBachelors of Science
I graduated Maxima Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics in the fall of 2014.
University of MarylandPh.D. (in progress)
I am working towards a Ph.D. in Computer Science focusing on Fairness and Diversity in Machine Learning.
A bundle of ideas.Over the past few years my interests have grown to include a number of topics. I started off in Machine Learning and Game Theory, moved on to Computational Biology, and now I have landed in Fairness and Diversity in Machine Learning.
