Build It, Break It, Fix It

This course is designed around a secure development competition called Build It, Break It, Fix It. To participate in the project, you will need to register an account at https://bibifi.cs.umd.edu. This website is the main portal for the competition. It will allow you to submit test programs to a correct oracle implementation of the project, see the results of your submissions, and view the scoreboard.

Manual grading

  • Manual Submission Status - Whenever you make a commit to the breakdesc or fixdesc folders, the instructors will add a row to this spreadsheet. The submission name will be the folder name you give the specific break/fix. Once we've manually graded the submission, we will update the "Accepted?" field to indicate whether it passed or failed.
  • Manual Grading Scores - We won't be able to update the scores directly on the website scoreboard, so we're going to be tracking the scores accumulated through textual breaks/fixes on this separate sheet and combine them at the end.
