Active Design Reviews

Parnas & Weiss [PW85] proposed a new method to find defects in designs called ``Active Design Reviews''. This method includes much more detail than the reading technique, e.g. organization of the review. I will concentrate on the reading part. In order to prepare for meetings the reviewer gets a kind of checklist called a questionnaire. This questionnaire should focus the attention of the reviewer on the issue that he knows about. As different reviewers get different questionnaires, each reviewer can concentrate on his part of the review independently and in parallel with all the others.
