The CSD Graduate Council sponsors a weekly coffee hour, Wednesday at 3pm in room 1152, AV Williams buliding. Lots of refreshments are served; There is always plenty of coffee, cookies and crackers. Although I suppose the "crackers" are just the attendees. Occassionally, someone will be nice enough to bring in something home baked.

Faculty, students and staff are all invited: it gives everyone a chance to get together to talk about matters of mutual interest. Companies interested in hiring students also occassionally show up: they get to hire people, and we get more free food, so it balances nicely.
