Research

My work spans many areas, so I have a number of affiliations My general research interests are in social networks, trust, web science, artificial intelligence, and human computer interaction. I do work in each of those areas independently, but focus mainly on projects where they intersect. The theme of my research is to leverage social information to build intelligent interfaces and improve information access.

I am particularly interested at linking trust relationships from social networks to user-generated content on the web, and using trust to help aggregate, sort, and filter the information.
