As of now, we are trying to implement two ideas (funding models) to accelerate the undergraduate research outcomes (publications in top tier venues) in the department of Computer Engineering, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. I hope there exist a generalized version of this model that can apply to all the undergraduate CS/CE/EE programs in Sri Lanka. This article will be about the generalized model.
