Research

I am a member of the Artificial Intelligence Group at the University of Maryland. I study various aspects of commonsense reasoning, including the related areas of cognitive modeling and philosophy of mind and language. An ongoing project of my research team (Active Logic, Metacognitive Computation, and Mind) is the use of time-situated metacognitive computation for enhanced flexibility and generality of reasoning. Most of our publications can be found on our website.
