The DFS Team

DFS was designed and built through the dedication of four senior computer science students dedicated to provide an outstanding product which can change the life of many people with type I diabetes.


Brian Mitchell

Brian is the current chief architect behind DFS. His skills in Flash as well as his great knowledge of diabetes makes them a key member in providing support as well as feedback for improvements. He was the lead person for deliverable number two were he led the rest of the team in obtaining and filtering references for the development of this product.


Ben Parker

Ben is one of the developers for the DFS team. His active commitment and experience developing interfaces at his work-place provided great feedback during our regular meetings. Ben took the lead on two deliverables: Compiling the user tasks and compiling the results of the usability tests. He also designed most of the flow of DFS.



Ken Chen

Ken provided a great touch of diversity and foreign feedback to DFS. His contributions are found in the History module of DFS. Ken is also a developer for the DFS team and took the lead on the fourth deliverable as he prepared and led the team in building an effective task list and questionnaire.


Alberto Flores

Alberto was the driving force behind the last phase of the project (the final report and the website) and in the production of great ideas throughout the semester. He also took the lead in designing prototypes for DFS during the initial development process and organized meetings to improve communication process among team members.
