Mon 5/8, 5:30 pm: The final exam will be on Saturday 5/13 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. The location depends on your section:

Mon 5/8, 5:15 pm: On Stage 2 of project #6, instead of submitting ONE file called SP4.pdf, you should submit two files: SP4-1.pdf and SP4-2.pdf. The first one should be the sheet with all of the data, including your assessment of the "type" of the correlation. The second file should show the XY scatter plot that you have generated.

Mon Apr 24, 3:19 am:For Nelson's section: Midterm #2 grades are online. I will bring the exams on Wednesday for those that could not pick up the exam on Monday. You have until next Monday to discuss with the TA (Bhargav) any issues regarding the grading of the exam.

Thu Apr 20, 9:45 am:

Project 5 correction. In the file BasicPageCSS.html, this file is supposed to have the following block:

    <font class=ProjBY>
    This text needs to have a background color of color code <b>0000FF</b>
    and foreground color Base 10 (Red:200, Green:200, Blue:0) and appear
    in bold letters.
    </font>

The above matches the posted PDF file for Task 5. If you have already run the InstallP5 command, please update the section in your file within the <font class=ProjBY> tag's control to match the above.

Mon Apr 17, 9:16 pm: Message for Nelson's section: Project #3 scores and in-class discussions #3 and #4 scores are now available through grades.cs.umd.edu. You have until Monday April 24 to talk to the TA (Bhargav) regarding any issues with the grading of this material. No regrade requests regarding this material will be accepted afterwards.

Wed Apr 12, 6:43 pm: Project #5 has been posted. Part of the project relates to material that will be on the midterm next week, so it would be a good idea to get started on this one early.

Fri Feb 3, 3:33 pm: Message from Nelson: Salsa Dancing Class. My wife and I teach a beginner's salsa dancing class in CSI 1121 every Monday (starting next Monday Feb 13) from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
