6:30 pm: Planning Meeting
This meeting will be open to all ISERN members. The goal is to adjust and complete the meeting agenda.
9 am - 10:30 am: Welcome (Giuseppe Visaggio)
11:00 am -1:30 pm: Hot Topics I (organizer: Larry Votta)
The session will host presentations by ISERN participants who are working on issues that are not yet widespread in empirical software engineering but appear to be particularly promising.
1:30 pm - 3:00 pm: Lunch
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm: Experience Factory Start-Ups (organizer: Dieter Rombach)
4:00 pm - 6:00 pm: Parallel Project Meetings (organizer: Dieter Rombach)
Ongoing ISERN projects with more than one participating site will hold parallel meetings. Each leader of parallel sessions will present a brief status of the project, raising some open issues. Each participant of the ISERN meeting may choose to attend his/her project meeting, or attend as observer somewhere.
9 am - 10 am: Reports on results of parallel project meetings
The leaders of parallel sessions from the previous day will summarize results to entire ISERN group
followed by a short question/answer session.
10:30 am - 12:30 pm: Hot Topics II (organizer: James
Miller)
The session will host presentations by ISERN participants who are working on issues that are not yet widespread in empirical software engineering but appear to be particularly promising.
12:30 pm - 2:00 pm: Lunch
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm: New Experiments/Replications (organizer: Lionel Briand)
The session will host presentations by ISERN participants who planned a new experiment or replication, and want to present the laboratory package so that others can run the experiment in their sites.
