System Requirements 

There are two ways to use the ESIP Interoperability demo:

1. Applet - The Land Cover Visualization is run as an applet.
2. Stand-Alone - The Land Cover Visualization is run a stand-alone Java application.

The following list specifies the software components required to run the ESIP Interoperability demo from your computer:

• Web browser - You need to have either Internet Explorer or Netscape installed on your computer. 
• Java Runtime Environment - You need to have either  JDK 1.2.2 or JRE 1.2.2 installed on your computer.
• Java Plug-in - To run the Land Cover Visualization Tool as an applet  you need to have the Java Plug-in 1.2.2 installed and enabled.
