• Class had 20 graduate students from a variety of research areas, including machine learning, parallel computing, quantum computing, computational geometry, and bioinformatics.
• Yunheng Han's course project, Improving quartet graph construction for scalable and accurate species tree estimation from gene trees, was accepted to Genome Research / RECOMB 2023.
