For several of the files available on this page you will need a postscript interpreter. GSview provides this capability for Windows machines, OS/2, DEC Alpha machines, and UNIX/X11 boxes.

Homework [top]

Homework will be assigned but neither collected or graded. Group work is encouraged. In fact, history has shown that students who learn material best have worked in a study group. [Note: This is a superset of the problems that are essential in passing the course - so you don't need to do all of them. Moreover, the ones left OUT are either projects or stuff Meesh won't be hammering on in class. Some have solutions in the book (edition 3). Some have solutions password protected on this webpage. Some have no solutions and are not likely to have them unless Dr.Sussman's ta or Meesh's ta does them, and they're not being asked to do any extra work until there's some indication to Meesh that you folks are doing even the minimum reading and worksheets.]
