Current Positions:

Research Interests

My research interests are in the interrelated areas of AI, machine learning, robotics, machine consciousness, and neural networks. Recent work has focused on imitation learning in robotics, neurocognitive systems, programmable neural networks, high-level motor control, computational correlates of consciousness, and cause-effect reasoning. For example, we are currently studying methods for imitation learning by bimanual robots as part of an ONR-supported project.
