Home About Us Search Contact Info

The University of Maryland High School Programming Contest brings talented students from high schools throughout the DC metropolitan area to the campus. Contestants participate in a three hour competition which will test their programming skills and problem solving abilities. Each high school is allowed to send one team of four contestants; contestants must be students currently attending that high school. Contests are generally held every March.

Contest results since 1995 are available here.

The 2013 Contest will take place on Saturday, February 23st, 2013, at the CSIC Building at the University of Maryland, College Park.

Teams may register online here (after 8pm on Oct 25, 2012). The password is the same as previous years. Please contact Brenda Chick (brenda@cs.umd.edu) or Amol Deshpande (amol@cs.umd.edu) for additional information.

The programming contest will be held using Apple MacBooks. Unfortunately no mice will be provided. However, teams ARE allowed to bring and use their own USB mice.
