University of Maryland alum Bryant Lee (B.S. ’06, computer science; B.S. ’06, mathematics) has been making waves in the tech industry for over a decade. Today, Lee serves as the co-founder and CEO of Vaero, an enterprise software company that is redefining cybersecurity approaches across industries.

Lee’s education laid a strong foundation for his entrepreneurial endeavors. After graduating from UMD in 2006, he further honed his skills at Carnegie Mellon University, earning a master’s degree in computer science in 2009. "The University of Maryland provided excellent groundwork for my computer science background. It was there that I truly delved into computer science for the first time," Lee expressed. Then, as the co-founder and CEO of Cognition IP, he pioneered a groundbreaking integration of machine-learning techniques into patent law. Lee's visionary approach and trailblazing success exemplify his unwavering commitment to innovation and driving positive change.

Now, with Vaero, Lee is addressing a critical need in the industry: enabling organizations to consolidate their cybersecurity data from multiple systems into a single, unified location.
