Clare Yang

My research lies at the intersection of machine learning and sensing. Building on prior experience working with different sensing modalities, including radar, electro-optical/infrared imaging, and Raman spectroscopy, I’m interested in bringing together ideas from physics, signal and image processing, and modern machine learning, particularly foundation models, to develop methods that are physically grounded, interpretable, robust, and have strong potential for real-world sensing applications.
