Hi there! I am a fourth-year PhD student in Computer Science, focusing on research at the intersection of machine learning, fairness, and healthcare. I've been interested broadly in computer science since early high school, and over the course of my undergrad, I developed an interest in the "Machine Learning for Social Good" research area, before finding my current focus. I chose UMD for my graduate studies because of the great faculty that work in that research area, and the comfort of staying in a department I was familiar with through my undergraduate studies. Post-graduation, I hope to take on a role in academia or in industry research.
Outside of my studies, I'm an avid runner, frequenting Lake Artemesia and the CP Trolly Trail, and I enjoy playing the occasional board game or video game, and I love to read books and listen to podcasts.
