Haoan Feng

Haoan Feng is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Maryland, College Park, advised by Prof. Leila De Floriani, working at the intersection of computer vision and geospatial data analysis. His research interests span neural representations of geospatial data, implicit neural representations, topological analysis, and data visualization, and more recently Gaussian splatting for volumetric video and camera motion understanding in video-language models. He has worked with teams from a range of academic backgrounds, and thinks good ideas usually come out of that kind of exchange. Before Maryland, he received his B.Eng. and M.Phil. from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, advised by Prof. Long Quan.
