I am a first year PhD student working with Dr. Lin and Dr. Manocha in the GAMMA lab focusing on robotics and autonomy. I chose UMD for graduate school for its stature in computer science and its proximity to my family in the DC area. Computer Science became my focus after a motivating talk from the founder of an autonomous vehicles company. After hearing about the ability of the technology to not only improve everyone's daily life, but also to save countless lives, I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of. Post-graduation I hope to enter industry and directly work with autonomus vehicles.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, running, Formula 1, and go karting. If anyone is interested in hitting the track I would love to take you, the best one in the DC area is less than 30 minutes away!
