Windows users, Laptop users with wired connection, any others with non-Internet facing CSD IP address may notice some network delays during
this period.

Please remember to power off your CSD windows machines prior to 5:00 pm on Sunday, August 6th. During this period, one of the windows storage servers will be replaced with a new server.

During this period, CS websites and SVN will be unavailable.

On Sunday (May 28) between the hours of 10:00am - Noon we will update a few of our servers. This will cause disruptions in authentication and DNS services.

AV Williams Bldg. Wings 3 & 4, i.e., room number like x3xx, x4xx will be impacted by a power outage.Please consider gracefully shutting down your equipment prior to the outage. If your office is managed by CS IT staff and you have a machine that we should power on following the campus
outage, please email us.

Brief disruptions of network communication may occur within the maintenance timeframe. You may notice up to three 30 second outages if the testing goes smoothly and a 10 minute outage if difficulties are encountered.

Network maintenance originally planned for Mon. 1/16 has been postponed until Wed. 1/18 from 6:00pm - 7:00pm. Brief disruptions of network communication between the department and campus/outside world may occur within the maintenance timeframe.

01.09.2017 19:21 Mon. 1/9, 7-7:15p:Authentication outage

From 7:00 - 7:15pm tonight we are performing maintenance on our LDAP servers. There will be brief disruptions if trying to authenticate to CS systems during this time. Some DNS service disruption is possible but is not expected.
