We are currently experience an outage of the service that allows authentication to CS Linux systems. i.e., CS Users cannot access mail via imap or webmail.

We are aware of mail delivery problems to @cs.umd.edu from outside the department that began around 4:30pm yesterday (9-10-2015). The messages are queued and will be delivered shortly.

The earlier delay in delivery impacted some users of the Dept's mail, those users with an mbox format. These messages were not lost. All mail has now been delivered.

The problem with the mailman mailing lists has been resolved.

Beginning around 1:55pm today, messages sent to mailman lists return an "undelivered mail returned to sender" message. These messages will need to be resent once the problem is corrected, we will post an update once the problem is resolved.
